Sky Taxi Tunbridge Wells is the trading name of C Line Cars, a licensed private hire operator based in Tunbridge Wells offering local taxi journeys, fixed-price airport transfers and 24/7 pre-booked private hire across the town and surrounding villages.

Licensed and regulated locally

We operate under a private hire operator's licence issued by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council. Every driver we use holds a dual driver licence from the Council, covering both Hackney Carriage and Private Hire work. To hold that licence, a driver must pass the Council's computerised knowledge test — covering local routes, streets, licensing policy, the Highway Code and fare tariffs — and complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before being licensed.
Vehicles used for private hire in the borough must also meet the Council's vehicle policy, including an age limit of under six years from first registration when first licensed, and regular compliance testing.
